One of the big concerns about driving an electric vehicle is making sure there are enough charging stations around.
Now comes news that Tesla is developing an electric vehicle Supercharger hub near Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus that would be the largest EV charging lot in Michigan, Crain’s Detroit Business reports.
Elon Musk’s car company is planning to install 48 fast-charging stalls on a 2-acre site next to a Sheetz gas station on Vining Road, just off I-94, Crain’s reports, citing site plans submitted to the Romulus Planning Commission.
Michigan currently has about 2,000 EV charging stations with nearly 6,000 ports across the state, Crain’s reports.
