Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer told ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday night that her play list of 18 songs includes Lady Gaga and Detroit natives Eminem, White Stripes and Gmac Cash. But she proudly said Michiganders Kid Rock and Ted Nugent weren't on the list.

Kimmel cited the playlist of her top 18 songs in her book, "True Gretch: What I’ve Learned About Life, Leadership, and Everything in Between."

Kimmel went over the list and noticed that Michigander Kid Rock wasn't on it. Whitmer proudly said, "nope," and added "no Ted Nugent either."  Both are big Donald Trump supporters. And fair to say, there's no love lost between Trump and Whitmer.

White Stripes' rocker Jack White and rapper Eminem are both big critics of Trump. Gmac did a music video on Whitmer titled "Gretch Did." (See video below)

Both Whitmer and Lady Gaga were hosts on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday night.

Lady Gaga's father is a Trump supporter but she has historically backed Democratic candidates. She sang the national anthem at President Joe Biden’s inauguration.

Whitmer also commented on the debate performance Tuesday night of Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, against J.D. Vance, saying, "I think he did really well."
